Play

Miriam has been playing very sweetly the past few months. As she's getting older she's much more able to do imaginative play and it's fun to watch her with her various toys. Here's a wee selection...

Here we are with Peppa's house. She really likes this one. She also can't get enough of daddy's phone, so capturing the play is quite hard!

Naomi is quite in to puzzles, and Miriam has follow suit...

She loves Mr Potato Head - a birthday present from Uncle Ian and Auntie Christine.

Bus

Today, Naomi decided she wanted to ride on the bus:

Riding on the bus was compulsory for me when I arrived home from work. "Where are we going?" I asked - "over there!" Well, of course.

In case you're wondering, Naomi is holding a potato. Yes, of course it's relevant! Don't you remember my ride on the bus?

In other news, today in the bath, Miriam picked up the flannel and started trying to wash my face :)

Bus

Picture the scene. I'm sitting on a bus full of students, we've just passed through Loughborough College on the way to the university. The roads are quite busy and there's a bit of a jam as we leave the college, going round a tight corner. At this point, a bus coming in the opposite direction slows down and stops, much to the frustration of the long line of drivers waiting behind it. The window rolls down and its driver leans out, and a blast of cool (I won't say cold, we don't even have snow here yet) air indicates that our driver's window is down too. Our driver leans out and yells "poatato". The other driver smiles, windows roll back up and buses proceed on their way.

I can't believe it took this many blog posts to have a "randomness" tag.
